Camp Bonaventure Fishing & River Report, June 25th to July 1st, 2023

It’s hard to believe the month of June has already come and gone. Time sure does fly by when you’re having a good time at the camps!

Last week’s high tides brought a nice rune of fresh salmon to all our rivers and fishing has been getting better with each passing day.

We have been spoiled with wonderful fishing conditions and weather this week. A great mix of sun, warmth, clouds, rain, and cool evenings.

Waters Levels:

The Bonaventure River is flowing at 19 (m³/s).

The Grand Cascapedia is flowing at 39 (m³/s).

The Petite Cascapedia is flowing at 18 (m³/s).

The Salmon’s fly of choice this week was a fair mix between wet and dry flies. Anything with a bit of green, black, and yellow to it has been catching their eye.

Here’s to Health, Happiness and Tight Lines!
